Gettin' Around

It has been great to do lots of walking to do all the getting around here. Public transportation (mini vans: Louage) and taxis are great and well priced but the walking has done me good. Now, having said that, it is always nice to have alternatives which offer a bit a quicker A-to-B option...so I wanted to share a couple pics of "my" (borrowed) new wheels. Note: you must know the how-t0 protocols of round-abouts if you're going to drive here! Back home the bike may warrant a few "is that a girl's bike!?" comments but here people such bike-gender-distinctions haven't brought any taunting remarks...or they're just being nice to the tourist. I like to think it has a Euro-flare to it...you know, "trendy!"
